Levinsatu: SeLevi and TaLevi, -- are located in the heart of Levi. Levi is the
largest, most popular, and fastest growing wintersport resort in Finland.
It is situated in Lapland, just below the 68th parallel, which is well above the
polar circle.
Some numbers: Vertical drop 325 m, Pistes 44, Longest slope 2500 m, 48 slopes, of which 15 with artificial light, 10 childrens slopes,
1 superpipe, 1 halfpipe, 26 skilifts with a joint capacity of 25.500 persons per
hour, a total of 102 acres of alpine skiing area, 230 km cross country ski
tracks, of which 28 km with artificial light, 750 km snowmobile tracks, 1 ski
school, 6 hotels, over 1000 chalets, 19.000 beds, 29 restaurants, of which 7 on
the slopes, 3 discos, 6 cafιs, 6 ski rental companies, a multitude of
specialised stores, 3 supermarkets, a spa, beauty centre, fitness centre, etc,
etc.

There are downhill ski slopes close to the cottages 0,6 km away.
Also there are numerous opportunities for leisure in the area like: Husky
dogs farms and safaris, Reindeer sledge safaris, Levis
breathtaking stunning hiking paths, diverse cycling routes,
horse back riding with Icelandic horses, cross country skiing, snowmobiles safaris,
winter fishing, snow-shoeing - the options are strikingly plentiful.

Alpine
Skiing and Snowboarding
Levi has got the best slopes in the the whole Finland! Youll
find snow fun at Levi whatever your ability level. You are guaranteed
snow at Levi!
At Levi, you can ski without queuing on well-kept pistes on slopes all
over the fell. The varied landscape is ideal both for beginners and
international skiing stars all the way from the rope lifts in Kids
Land through Snow Park to the Levi Black World Cup piste. Equipment
rental shops, Levi shops and piste restaurants are open for business all
over the fell.

You can improve your technique at the ski school, which provides
instruction in downhill skiing, snowboarding, telemark skiing and
cross-country skiing. Fans of cross-country skiing can enjoy the
illuminated ski tracks and snow that lingers well into the spring.
Levi has a total of 45
varied pistes covering 43.6 km. These pistes are colour-coded as
follows: blue for beginners, red for those who have mastered the basics,
black for experts and green for transition routes.

Taking you up the fell are 2 gondolas, 1
chair lift, 14 T-bar lifts, 6 stick lifts for children and 4 rope lifts
for children.

Play golf amidst gorgeous fells
The 18-hole golf course in Levi is set in a place of exceptional
natural beauty by a glimmering lake at the foot of surrounding
fells. The midnight sun of Lapland's nightless days allows you to
play longer - Levi golf day and night!
The needs and wishes of average club players were taken into
consideration in the course's design. Lake Taalojarvi within the
boundaries of the golf course adds an extra challenge and character
to the spacious course with its variable terrain.
Services at Levi Par
In the Levi Par Club House, you'll find the comfortable Draivi
restaurant, Levi Pro Shop with top brand products, Caddie Master's
Office and the top-quality Members Club facilities.
Draivi seats 100 persons inside and another 300 on the sun terrace
surrounding the building. The Club House also has changing rooms
with showers and toilets.
A driving range and a putting green are also available by the Levi
Par building.

Reindeer
Park
|
|
Come and visit the Reindeer Park
At Levi, you can get to know Laplands renowned antlered heads also
during the summer. The reindeer and their fawns wander about freely in a
170-hectare enclosed area. In the park you can walk, hike and reindeer
watch while admiring wonderful views.
A Nordic Walking trek in the Reindeer Park, with or without a guide, is
something to remember. Levis summer programme includes guided walks in
the park.

Bike Park --
Bikers paradise
In addition to extensive road and mountain bike routes, Levi has the
worlds northernmost Kona Bike Park, featuring 2 freeride trail and
challenging downhill trail. In Gondola area are Slopestyle and
Junior Trail. Santa΄s Cabin, red freeride route, is closed for the
moment due to construction work.

learn about the life of Arctic sled dogs!

Visit the Husky Park at the village
of Kφngδs, where app. hundred cute dogs will happily greet you.
Friendly Siberian huskies and playful light-coloured Japanese
spitzes greet all visitors with wagging tails, and, if you are
lucky, you'll get a wet lick on the face, a canine kiss.
The duration of a visit app. 1 hour (depending on group size).
The opening hours of Levi Husky Park: Mon-Fri 11am-4pm, Saturday

Levi Domestic Animal
Park
See the world`s northernmost alpacas and other animals at Levi`s
Domestic Animal Park!
The Levi Lapp Village is located in the historically important
village of Lonnakko, on its oldest property, Harjula. At Domestic
Animal Park at Levi Lapp Village you can familiarize yourself with
many kinds of animals.
In the village you meet the alpacas, reindeer, goats and sheep's.
There are also smaller animals such as chipmunk, gerbils,
guinea-pigs, bunnies, budgies, finches and the rooster Elvis and the
hen Klaara. There are also a Samoyed (dog), two Siberian huskies and
cats.
Part of the animals is strolling in the area.
The opening hours of Domestic Animal Park and cafι: 1st June-31st
Aug on Tue-Sat at 12am-3pm and 1st Sep- 30th Sep on Tue-Fri at
12am-3pm

Levi Adventure Park is located in
the Gondola area, in the forest next to the Levi Black piste. Here you
can experience a genuine mountain adventure that's completely safe.
The Adventure Park has six tracks of different lengths and levels,
identified by colour codes according to the difficulty. Adventurers can
thus choose the ones that best suit their skills.
Most of the adventure takes place in the air, several metres above
ground level. Adventurers make use of cables as well as wooden and rope
bridges to move safely from one point to the next, eventually conquering
the entire track. Practicing in the park requires balance,
concentration, coordination and sometimes strength as well.
Safe and supervised
Safety comes first at Levi Adventure Park. All of our instructors have
been trained by the Finnish climbing association (SKIL). They instruct
every adventurer on safety matters before they get on the track.
Adventurers wear a helmet, hoist and harness with safety cables. To
improve safety, there are also minimum height requirements for each
track.

The Adventure Park has been built in a nature friendly way on a real,
ruggedly beautiful northern landscape.
The Adventure Park is open 1.6 - 27.9.2009 daily between 10 am and 7 pm.
