In the remotest corner of
the North, on the other side of Arctic Circle, in the Finnish Lapland is
Levi. This resort is blend of Lappish exoticism, high quality range of
services developed with care.
To Levi it is better to
fly via Helsinki (1h30min) or Stockholm (1h40min) to Kittila a/p. and
there is shuttle bus from the airport to Levi takes 15 min.
You can also take a
sleeper train from Helsinki to Kolari (80 km away from Levi) or to
Rovaniemi (with this trains you can take your car as well). From the
Rovaniemi is about 160 km away. There are also
bus connections to Levi. |

Omalla autolla
Helsingistä ajat Kolille noin kuudessa ja Kuopiosta puolessatoista
tunnissa.Joensuusta automatka vie noin tunnin.
Tiehallinnon autoilijan tiekartan löydät täältä. There two main roads
via via Mikkeli and Outokumpu and Polvijarvi to the road №504 or via
Lappenranta and Joenssu by the roar №6 which turns to the local road
Koli-Ahmovaara №504, which crosses №6 and goes straight to Koli and its
main road Merilarannantie. After 9 km from the crossroad with №6 and
Neste gasoline station (as it is shown at the camera link below), you
will enter the centre of Koli .

On the left hand you will
see the local store "Sale". Before 6 pm you can by there many necessary
and useful things. On the right
hand across the road there will be local travel company office "Karelia
Expert"

| To the right
will go the 3 kms road to Ukko-Koli and Sokos Hotel located up on the
hill.
Next crossroad will show you the way to
the right, to Ukko Koli lifts (UkkoKolin Rinteet). |

more 6 km there will be big turn to the right, Loma Koli Camping, to the
Pielinen side and winter ice road to Lieksa, Merilanranta, etc. --

If you are the OtsoPirtti
guest, please turn to the right now.
You will see on the left hand the
KoliKeskus cafe, and after 200 meters down the hill, please, turn to the
left to Alakuja private street.
After about 150-200 meters you will see
the Otsopirtti house, "Otso" side.
Entrance is from the left side opposite
to the lakes.

At the road fork
you should keep right by the - Satamatie - until it will come to the
Pielinen. It will turn to the left.
On the right hand you will see the Pielislinna and next ot it KoliPilvi
on the lake shore.
Koritie street turns to the right.
Entrance is from the Koiritie.

Junalla
Nopeimmillaan oikoradan junat ajavat Helsingistä Joensuuhun reilussa
neljässä tunnissa. Joensuun asemalta helpoin tapa tulla Kolille on
kimppakyyti tilataksilla. Kimppakyytikuljetuksia on useita päivittäin,
viitteelliset aikataulut alla kohdassa "Kimppataksilla Joensuusta".

Lentäen
Kolin lähellä ovat sekä Joensuun että Kuopion lentokentät. Helsingistä on
päivittäin useita lentovuoroja sekä Joensuuhun että Kuopioon. Joensuun
kentältä helpoin tapa tulla Kolille on tilata kimppakyyti.
Kimppakyytikuljetuksia ajetaan tilatakseilla useita päivittäin.

Kimppataksilla Joensuusta
Joensuu-Koli –reitillä liikennöi päivittäin etukäteen tilattava ja ovelta
ovelle palveleva kimppataksi. Kimppataksin tilaus 01009986 (0,56 €/min +
ppm). Tilaus parhaiten edellisenä arkipäivänä. Alla viitteelliset aikataulut
(joita tarvittaessa räätälöidään asiakkaiden tarpeiden mukaan). Hinta
Joensuusta 14€ / hlö / suunta, Joensuun lentokentältä 16 € / hlö / suunta.
Lumiset-bussilla Joensuusta
Lumiset-bussi liikennöi lauantaisin Joensuusta Kolille ja takaisin
1.12.2007-19.4.2008.
Linja-autolla
Kolin linja-autoyhteydet löydät Matkahuollon sivuilta. Kun kirjoitat
hakukoneen lähtöpaikaksi esimerkiksi "Joensuu" ja määräpaikaksi "Koli kylä",
saat päivittäiset bussivuorot Joensuusta Kolille.
